eShopworkshas won an award from the Pipeline Industries Guild for its new Internet-based enquiry system for the pipeline industry, Linsearch.org (www.linesearch.org) whick is based on WORKSsitebuiulder 2.0

Linesearch.org was developed for Fisher German, to cater for the vast amount of interest Fisher German receives each year from companies, authorities and individuals who wish to carry out excavations, lay services or undertake construction work which could affect their clients’ pipeline apparatus.  With annual enquiries nearing 40,000 it was clear there was a definite need for such search facilities to be made available. 

Fisher German’s experience and understanding of the pipeline industry was absolutely the key to developing Linesearch.org, which allows interested parties to make their enquiries online providing a much more time efficient and cost effective service to all.  The system has been introduced to cover the firm’s existing clients and is available to other operators should they wish to participate, so becoming Linsearch.org members.

The Pipeline Industries Guild has acknowledged Fisher German & eShopworks' new technology breakthrough by announcing them as the winners of their ‘Significant Contribution to Land-Based Pipeline Technology’ award.  This category was first introduced in 1996, with the objective to promote the development of new ideas in the general field of land-based pipeline technology.  The award was presented at the Annual Pipeline Industries Guild dinner, which was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
