Q: Is there a limit to how many pages I can add to WORKSsitebuilder?

Of course not!   There is no limit to the ammount of pages and assets you can add to the WORKSsitebuilder CMS.    However as your site grows you will want to consider space available on your server in terms of diskspace and also the bandwidth requirements of a highly trafficked, high content site. 

The WORKSsitebuilder team are happy to advise on your requirements as the site scales to ensure optimum performance.

Q: How much traffic will my site cope with?

The WORKSsitebuilder CMS solution does not cause any limitations in terms of site traffic but the appropriate hosting options will need to be considered. If you are not able to host the site on your own servers then we can provide various scalable hosting options to meet your bespoke requirements, and cater for high traffic volume sites.

Q: How much does WORKSsitebuilder cost?

WORKSsitebuilder CMS is very cost effective.    All of the features are made available for a small annual license fee.    The cost of deployment is difficult to determine without first undertaking an analysis of your requirements.   

No two clients are the same and we believe in treating each individually, providing a bespoke solution.  For each client the cost is derived from the graphic design and implementation time for the feature set chosen for the site.    Once the cost is estimated the site deployment is undertaken under a fixed price contract.

Q: How many users can work with the WORKSsitebuilder CMS?
The WORKSsitebuilder CMS enables an unlimited number of users to interact with the software and perform the required content authoring, editing, reviewing, and publishing tasks. The secure web-based admin enables you to control user permissions at a very granular level. The software license is not on a per-user basis but is calculated per site based on the functionality in use.

Q: How long would it take to launch my site on WORKSsitebuilder?
A website deployment powered by the WORKSsitebuilder CMS can be implemented very quickly but this depends on the level of design, and the complexity of any bespoke requirements. After the requirements capture a stage one release for a foundation site can go live within a few weeks. By following an agile approach to software development we are able to deliver projects in a timely and efficient way and allow our clients to control the speed of development according to their budget and priorities.

Q: Do I need my own servers or hosting?

You can host the WORKSsitebuilder CMS application on your own servers, and the WORKSsitebuilder team are happy to support it or help your own team, after specification has been agreed.  

Alternatively the WORKSsitebuilder team provide various scalable hosting options from a shared virtual server, right up to load balanced, geographically dispersed co-located solution for 'three 9s availability' of high traffic sites, like Linesearch.   We have a server hosting solution to meet your bespoke requirements.

Q: Can I use my own graphic designer or design agency?
Yes you can.   Any designer or agency can work with the WORKSsitebuilder templates.    However it should be considered that when working with a CMS there are certain consideratuions that should be made, liek extensibility and accessibility.    This is not like designing a brochure for the web.  

Fortunately the WORKSsitebuilder team have prepared an agency overview for working to get the best out of the WORKSsitebuilder system, and we are happy to help in a consultative capacity as required.

Q: Can I run multiple sites from the WORKSsitebuilder CMS?
Sure you can!   Indeed WORKSsitebuilder supports multiple site deployments using only a single implementation.   Business Monitor International are using a single installation to run 37 websites, for example.

Q: Can I migrate to WORKSsitebuilder from another content management system?

Over the years the WORKSsitebuilder team have developed a number of tools to help with the migration process.    With a bit of planning content and assets can easily be migrated from another CMS so that you can upgrade to WORKSsitebuilder. 

Furthermore as we go we will record the URL structure to ensure that URL 301 redirects are in place to ensure that your serach engine positioning is maintained during the migration.
