WORKSsitebuilder enables non-technical users to take control of website metrics and measurement by a process of user tracking. Statistics and reporting provide the information to allow you to continuously update and optimise your website. WORKSsitebuilder offers inbuilt comprehensive, and configurable, user tracking based on server log file analysis using awstats
Statistics provide data about user interaction and reporting on their web usage and most visited pages. Reports include;
- website traffic (unique visitors / number of visits / pages / hits / bandwidth)
- time of visit (by hour / by day of the week / by month)
- average visit duration
- geographic regions
- most common referrers / search key phrases / search keywords
- search engine activity
- etc...
Path tracking provides statistics of the most popular paths through the website, as well as heat-mapping which show the frequency and positioning of clicks on the pages. Statistics and reporting (user metrics and measurements) provides a reporting function which includes expressed and non-expressed preferences, this enables emails and newsletters to be personalised by preference and the content catered accordingly.
Furthermore, site template administration allows for the ability to add custom analytics tags for common analytics packages, e.g. Webtrends / Google Analytics, via the WORKSsitebuilder administration.
It is important to identify key paths and funnels (trial / subscription process, for example) to ensure optimum website performance and conversion ratios. Goals can be set and Key Performance Indicators can be monitored through auto-generated regular reports.
