Banner advertising tools to add, edit and report on internal or 3rd party banners...
WORKSsitebuilder’s banner management allows administrators to add, edit and report on banners (internal and/or 3rd party) and place them in pre-defined ‘feature’ areas within the content templates.
Banners can be created, edited, authored, design and published by non-technical users.
There is also a function which allows all banners to be stored in a searchable library. Image and text based banners (content ‘teasers’) can be used within the system to highlight certain features or offers; (a free trial, new product, or event...).
By categorising content using ‘themes’ banner adverts of a pre-defined size (image or text) can be served in contextually relevant areas (topic / geography etc). Third party (external) banners can also be controlled by ‘themes’ within the site templates, allowing greater control over where third party banners are visible.
Banner display is configurable; administrators can select the probability that a given banner will show within a defined space when more than one banner is defined for a given page. Banners, as with other content, can be scheduled to publish and expire in line with offers and promotions. Administrators can report on banner performance at an atomic level (i.e. banner 1: 10,000 views / 1,000 clicks). Banner ‘views’ and ‘clicks’ are recorded within the system and can be viewed within the site administration.
