The WORKSsitebuilder solution
The MoneyWeek website was redesigned, restructured and rebuilt by eShopworks using WORKSsitebuilder Professional Content Management System (CMS) in December 2004. The site has gone through three further stages of development with new functionality added in each instance.
Magazine Subscription & e-newsletter registrations – Introduced configurable access rules to allow MoneyWeek to management user access to site content (premium V’s free-to-view). Content access supported by contextually relevant trial/subscription advertising to drive non-subscribers to call-to-action. Integrated with existing online/offline subscription management system.
Content Delivery – Created news feeds on the MoneyWeek site allowing site user/3rd party news aggregators (e.g. Google news) to receive MoneyWeek content. Up-to-the-minute news content from Digital look dynamically categorised and published to the MoneyWeek site.
Integrated 3rd party advertising – Targeted 3rd party advertising dynamically delivered on site.
Search Engine Optimisation – MoneyWeek.com site re-structured and ‘tuned’ for search engines. Non-technical HTML metadata management introduced putting MoneyWeek in control of ongoing SEO (Content categorisation and mark-up / keywords / URL rewriting / title tags etc).
