- Geo-IP tracking
Put in place to enable Phaidon to identify a user's location to preset the default currency and therefore improve site usability.
- Checkout process
Improvements to the checkout process were identified and implemented to cut down the number of required steps to complete an order from basket to payment to improve the user's online shopping experience, and reduce shopping cart abandonment.
Updates included modifying the steps to include only basket, delivery, payment; refining the navigation; updating the templates; and improving interfaces for the delivery and payments process.
